LOCATION:
All Madison Dance Ula La classes are held inside Synergy Dance Academy, 549 Zor Shrine Pl, Madison, WI 53719
Ladies' Formation Team
Our formation team is for ladies only, ages 18 and up. Our practices consist of technique every Friday night from 7-9 pm and choreography every Saturday morning from 10:00-12:30 pm.
Our team will be taking part in competitions as well as showcase events.
Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about how to join. Dance experience required.
Cost: $15 per hour with class package and 4 hours per week commitment required (2 hours on Fridays and 2 hours on Saturdays as above).
Adult International Latin Dance Group Classes
Special - First time students try your first class for $10 ($15 per class with class package after that).
Technique Fundamentals - Cha Cha, Samba, and Rumba Rotation* -
Days & Time: Fridays 6:00-6:55 pm
Cost: $15 per class with a class package
Latin Goddess Technique Class - A Mix Of Latin, Hip Hop, Belly and African*
Days & Time: Fridays 7:00-7:55 pm
Cost: $15 per class with a class package
Latin Goddess Technique Class - A Mix Of Latin, Hip Hop, Belly and African*
Days & Time: Fridays 8:00-8:55 pm
Cost: $15 per class with a class package
*Please note that some dance experience is recommended for all of our technique classes.

Madison Kids' Classes
Classes are held on Saturdays starting Feb. 17, 2024
February 2024 class dates: 2/17, 2/24.
March 2024 class dates: 3/2, 3/9, 3/23, 3/30. No classes on 3/16/24.
April 2024 class dates: 4/6, 4/13 (CANCELLED), 4/20. No classes on 4/27/24.
May & Summer class dates can be found below.
Saturdays:
1:00-1:55 pm - Ages 7-10 Girls International Latin Formation
2:00-2:55 pm - Competition Prep for Ages 7-13 (Starting Saturday 3/23/24)
3:00- 2:55 pm - Ages 11-13 Girls International Latin Formation
Competition Prep Cost: $120/8-class punch card (plus current students receive $10 off)
Summer Session 1 (May & June 2024):
Saturdays (9 classes): 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25, 6/1, 6/8, 6/15, 6/22, 6/29.
Cost Summer Session 1 Saturdays: $135 if registered by 4/15/24, $150 after that.
Sign up for Summer Session 1 and 2 by 4/15/24 for $245 (save an additional $10)
Summer Session 2 (July & August 2024):
Saturdays (8 classes): 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31. No classes 7/6/24.
Cost Summer Session 2 Saturdays: $120 if registered by 6/15/24, $135 after that.

Meet Your Coach
ULA RIVERS
Ula Rivers provides elite training and has produced champions in multiple styles of dance across various age categories. She believes technique is everything and that comes from her 41 years of dance experience and world class training. Just to list a few of her accomplishments, she has been a finalist in many professional Latin competitions all over the US and opened the biggest dance studio in Chicago by the time she was 21. She performed all over the US and abroad, appearing on tv and magazine covers, and created a high level dance company that took the stage getting hired for their unmatched artistry. She not only believes in quality technique, but also brings out the inner feminine and masculine that is within all of us. Come take lessons with a dance master!
